The Language Technologies Research Centre (LTRC) is a collaboration between several partners who are interested in research and development (R&D) in the language industry. The founding partners of the LTRC are the following:

• the National Research Council's Institute for Information Technology (NRC-IIT)
• the Translation Bureau
• the Université du Québec en Outaouais

Other collaborators in the LTRC are

• Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions,
• the Economic Development Corporation of Gatineau (GEDC),
• the Language Industry Association (AILIA), and
• the Government of Quebec's Ministère de Développement économique, de l'Innovation et de l'Exportation.

Within the LTRC, a Board of Directors and a Scientific Committee have been created to assume some of the roles and responsibilities involved in running a research centre.
