NLP demonstrates its success at Precarn showcase

Precarn Incorporated hosted a showcase announcing the funding of a new $2.5 million T-GAP (Technology Gap Assistance Program) project. Mike Lake, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Industry, Tony Clement, spoke about the importance of innovation in the Canadian industry, and also encouraged innovative Canadian firms.

NLP Technologies is proud to announce the beginning of a contract by which TRANSLI (Automatic Translation of Legal Information) will become the primary translation tool for the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Quebec). The CSST has awarded NLP Tech a long-term contract for the translation of their decisions relating to injuries in the workplace. This groundbreaking agreement marks the first time a government organization uses machine translation as a primary resource. Success for Irosoft internationally
